Candace Carmichael Quilts
The quilts shown below were created by Candace Carmichael, a long-time member of the OCQG, art educator, and artist, who passed away in 2011. Recently, her husband, Greg, reached out to the Guild and asked if we would take some of her quilts that have been in storage for some time. We have picked up these quilts and they have been sorted. Some will be passed on to our donation partners through the Service Committee, a few will be available to members who like to repurpose parts of old quilts. The largest number will be offered for sale to Guild members at a silent auction to be held during the upcoming December guild meeting.
Additional details about Candace and her quilts can be found in the October 2022 OCQG Newsletter.
