The Old Capitol Quilters Guild of Iowa City, Iowa, established in 1981, is made up of more than 100 quilters who share a love of quilts and quilting. Members' interests vary from traditional to modern and contemporary, art quilts, pieced, applique, large to miniature. Quilters of all levels are welcome.
Meetings: Held monthly on the second Monday of the month, September through July.
Location: Because of the Pandemic, the OCQG held its monthly meetings via Zoom starting in the spring of 2020, but. we are happy to report that we returned to in-person meetings at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (2301 E. Court St., Iowa City), as of March 2022. The meetings start at 7pm (with a 30-minute social period starting at 6:30 pm).

PRESENTERS & WORKSHOPS
Each monthly meeting includes a program designed to inform and inspire. Programs generally begin at the conclusion of a business meeting and show and tell. Speakers are often nationally or regionally known quilt artists, designers and teachers. Other months the program might focus on community service, challenge quilts, or programs presented by members of the Guild.
